Module Overview

Week 3 opens with three cross-cutting topics that round out your feature and tooling knowledge: Jaeger distributed tracing (how to debug requests across microservices), the Payments integration domain (a newer team bridging integrations and payments data), and text write-back with the patient communication log (how Weave messages get written back to PMS patient profiles).

Why This Module Matters

Debugging production issues requires tracing requests across services. Jaeger is the primary tool for this at Weave. Understanding the Payments and text write-back features broadens your integration knowledge beyond the core patient/appointment sync you've covered so far.
